ΚΟΝΤΡΕΣ ΠΟΥ ΑΦΟΡΟΥΝ S2000 Ι
Back on topic...i just got home from Ikea at At.Od. where a very interesting race took place.A 1992 red Civic turbo est.over 500hp and a well known green M3 E36 turbo est. over 600hp.The result was twice the Civic in front with 3-4 cars gap.The driver of the Honda said afterwards that the Bmw is very powerfull but weights too much...
too bad for the M3.I am fond of all M cars.

As an ex-miata driver (with over 360hp) i know that every miata owner wants the best from his engine!! But sometimes it is never enough!! :-)
Silver Mk2 miata (the 6-speed one) equipped with an M62!! supercharger had a meeting with a black s2000 (no mods) on sigrou avenue!!! The miata owner did not believe his eyes every time the honda was in front of him!!! And it happened all the time they tried to race... Hope that the miata owner is now convinced to sell his miata!!
Honda is again in front!!!!

Nice!
Yesterday night...
Saw a nice red RX-8 with some really big exhaust tips. Must have been custom made, not sure. We met at Glyfada and stopped at the traffic lights at Asteria Entertainment Club towards Voula. He started rev sky high his engine (nice smooth sound) on my right side and looked at him, gave me a smile, gave him back another, so we launched together!
He made a better start about one meter in front (am still trying to find out the best launching revs for my S) and until the end of the first gear we were together. I shifted on second gear and start gaining ground. At the end of second gear I took him and continue all the way until the first left turn when he backed out.
Dont know which model it was but I really liked that RX-8's style. For the record he was on his own and I was with my girl, so extra weight on me.

Xmmm, Silver MK2 MIATA 6speed, with MP62.
There is only one such car and I tell you it is powerfull (another ex Miata owner with M45 blower speaking but I guess you know how powerfull supercharged Miatas get).
I guess they did not race from rolling 2nd gears or (even worse) rolling 3rd or the case would be different. A no moded S2k will do just under 20 kgm at almost 8000 rpms, a 6speed Miata MK2 with M62 blower will deliver more than 26 kgm at halph the rpms, the difference it would built up would be hard to cover up. I've done the same trick with a friend's S2K against my ex 6speed MK2 with M45 blower (approx 195 hp and 23 kgm): I would race him from rolling 2nd or 3rd gear and the MIATA would built up one car's length distance which the S2K could never cover in the short distance. A supercharged car has much more and a lot more usable torque and power, especially so if equipped with a close ratio 6 speed gearbox!! I find the S2K very powerfull (and the dyno graphs prove it), but I sure miss the low end punch of my supercharged MIATA. If the MIATA owner is who I guess he is I tell you he is a HONDA lover allready!!!
