Anyone going? It's the last one... I havn't been out at all this year, lots of shit happened with the family. I'd really like to make it, so I figured I'd see if anyone else was interested.

Actually... I was just looking at the weather. It doesn't look promising at all. Mid 50's and rain. I just called and they havn't canceled yet. Sadly, it looks like I won't be going. I'm going to a halloween party tonight, and I wasn't going to drink. Now that Auto-X is going to be canceled or be a horrible day, I'm goin to get hammered!

Sorry for anyone who read this... Looks like it's going to have to be next year everyone.

I think I will be getting more into this next year. I had a great time at an Audi sponserd event there. It was my first time at BeaveRun and I was pretty impressed with the facility. Also AutoX is fun and a great way to learn the limits of your car and driving abilities.

BeaverRun is a very nice track, I've been on it several times and had a lot of fun in the "S".

Do they let you run the North Track there? I read some schnazz about SCCA approved roll bars and such.

That's pretty much the reason I only run @ Nelson Ledges...because they say the factory roll bars are sufficient.

Here we are...

http://www.beaverun.com/events_car_open_lapping.htm
#
# Roll bars are required for all convertibles & must run with top up unless equipped with arm restraints.
Nelsons just says...

http://www.nelsonledges.com/GOTDrivingRules.aspx
All open cars and convertibles must have a roll bar, reinforced factory rollover protection; similar to a Porsche Boxter or BMW M3.
