FS: 2001 AP1 Silverstone Vortech Supercharged
Autotrader Link
Hey everyone, I felt this deserved its own thread due to how long I've been a member with the club. I am selling my Vortech Supercharged 2001 S2000 Silverstone emblem shaved with accented red interior. I'd like to give the club the opportunity to buy it in its completed form. I also feel this car deserves an owner that will appreciate these modifications. My asking price is 16k. Pictures to come soon.
What isn't going to change, I'm going to still come to meets and hangout with everyone. You are a great bunch of people. What will change: The car I bring to the meet. For now, I am keeping it a secret, except for a select group of individuals. This car will be missed but I feel it is time for me to drive something different. As you know, life is short and there are a lot of cars still to drive!
I've done some tasteful exterior upgrades with aftermarket front lighting and AP2 taillights. Clear side markers. The car was repainted and sanded to remove orangepeel. I have paint left over for future touch up. The typical rock chips are on the front of the car. Motor is strong with no oil burn or leaking. Invidia V1 exhaust with silencers and a baffled cat-delete pipe. Ask anyone, the car sounds great and has minimal interior drone. I recently had a new windshield, since it had roadrash and made it difficult to see on sunny days. The soft top is upgraded to a glass window and it has the hard top strikers to keep it tight to the frame for less wind noise with the top up. I get confused but I think the rims are AP2 v2 wheels. The headunit is an older Alphine (CDA-9884) but I found it easy to use and has Sirius. It is also integrated to be partially controlled by the factory radio controls. I do have most of the factory items, if desired.
Body has 122k on it and motor has 58k since complete rebuild. I have receipt for proof of rebuild.
After 500 miles on rebuild, I switched to full synthetic and have run that since then.

How about a thread called "if the S2000 didn't exist, what would I own?"
