I I chose that weekend to go down and spend some time with the little brother in DC and stand around, drink beer, smoke and talk cars with him and his crew.
I think I may have my clutch fluid flushed and changed also, if there is time.
Has anyone here ever inspected their valve spring retainers. I would like to check these before Tech-day. I have seen pictures of cracked retainers, and it does not always appear to be clear. I figure it should only take 30 minutes to take off the cover, inspect and put everything back together. Any words of wisdom?

That's what "Tech-Day is for. If you are having a valve adjustment done, the tech has to remove the cover and check them anyway. If I were you, I'd leave the inspection to the guys who know what to look for. We can do your oil, clutch, brake, diff and tranny fluids. Just let me know which (if any) you would like done. That way, we can make sure to have the correct fluids there.
