Default Thursday Night

A couple friends from school live in Washington PA. We all decided we were going to go driftin around in washington. Well I live in Robinson town center. HA! I thought nothing of the storm cause I have the Jeep and at the time when I looked outside, there was about 3 inches of snow on the ground, no big deal right?

HAHA! I merge onto 22/30 to hit 79S... fast lane = 20mph. There was about 3 inches of snow on the highway. Everyones freakin out. Then I hit 79S. Traffic was alittle bit faster here but alot more people crashed on the side of the road. I saw a Penske box truck teetering on the 20ft drop when he spun out on the 79N side and almost came over the grass median right at the part of 79 were S is about 20 below N!!! Crazy!

It was a great night in Washington. We had races around the horse racing track at the fairgrounds.. yes ON the track and I almost took the front of my jeep off while slaloming light posts in a parking lot.

Anyways, just thought Id share my first Burgh experience in snow. I thought it was hilarious driving around the BMWs and Benzs trying to get through the snow. I think its great that they spend 60-100k on a car but cant afford 12k for a 4wd??

What an experience that must have been. I know how you felt, check out my "wrecked my Durango" site on this forum. No matter how careful we are sometimes we just can't control the road conditions. Hope to see you on the 16th at Station Square!
