Default WTT anyone?

Hey guys,

Like I mentioned before, I'm looking to sell or trade in my car within the next few months, so I wanted to see if any of you were interested in trading your AP1 rims with decent tires + cash for my AP2 rims + tires.

The rears have been curbed. One side is minor and the other side is a decent size from hitting a pothole. Both are still straight and there are no issues other than cosmetic. Tread life is approx 50% front and 25% rears.

Also, I have a K&N FIPK, Rick's red x-brace, megan strut tower bar, full stereo, dc sports header, T1R sparrow exhaust, red/black interior, headlamps with Rick's clear diffusers, OEM clear side markers, and AP1 v2 tail-lamps with the chrome rings. All stock items for trade must be in good condition. If you see anything else in the pictures that you'd like to trade, I'm open to suggestions.

Asking prices posted here:

PM me if you're interested.

Thanks,
Dan

Dan lets talk. You are close to me and I would love to make a deal with you on a lot of your stuff. Does anyone know if you can wet sand the scratches out of those rims?

Wet sanding will only work if the scratches arent through the clear. Those look beyond that to me. Powderoat should do alot to mask those, though. Cost you about $200 (50 per wheel) if you use my guy. They are located in Kittaning. Ballistic Industries Powder Coat - 724-543-1748

Dan - I have an ap1 exhaust. What do you need for the difference in the trade?

Aldo's right. That is the pic of the wheel that hit the giant pothole. They are beyond what I would call scratches. I think it's about 1-2mm deep. I got a quote on a repair. $150 for both wheels and it would look 90% only because the shiny finish is hard to replicate.

Aldo, I still have my stock exhaust because this upgrade was done so recently. So I would just sell it outright, and Paul showed some interest as well. If either of you guys wanted it, I would sell it to you for the price I'm offering the buyer of my car.

And, I'm actually surprised to report that I have one very interested buyer already. But it seems like he doesn't want the exhaust. He's in such a rush to buy it, he wants it this Friday, but I told him it's too soon. Hopefully though, I will still have it for our dinner next weekend.

No prob, Dan. For some reasion, I thought you needed an ap1 exhaust. Its good you kept it. I've got the Invidia for the noise factor. I was just curious. I hope you do well on all your transactions.

I agree with Aldo. Powdercoating should make them look great. However, before you go that route, maybe you can try this...Wheel Repair

I never tried this technique. But, it seems simple enough. Heck...If you don't like the results, you can always send them out for powder!

Dan,

I wish I could afford your sound system . I'm sure it was a huge improvement over stock. How did you like it?

That is a great step by step sequence. I am going to bookmark that one. Thanks Dennis. The problem with using this process on an S wheel, though is that the damage looks to be on the cleared coated machined part of the wheel. I dont see how you could paint it there.
