I didn't figure I'd get paid for them. Just wondered if for some odd reason someone wanted them. Maybe if we compile all of them we can create some sort of funky mobile or other artistic endeavor

Yeah...I seriously (okay...3 seconds) thought about glue-gunning all mine together into some HUUUUGE amber sphere and making it a tourist attraction. You know...like folks that drive across-country to visit the "Largest Ball of Twine" .

One time when I was clearing a set of corners at an owner's place...a person that rented a room there asked if he could have the set of amber diffusers. Certainly I had no problem with it...but was curious as to why (wouldn't fit his car, etc.). He said, "Folks will buy *anything* on Ebay"...and proceeded to suggest that he might paint the "facing rakes" of the diffusers black or something (sort of alternate between black and amber) and then "market" them as something new from Japan . Actually rather funny...because as sad as it is to think of what that would look like on our cars...there's undoubtedly folks that will pay for it just to have something "new from Japan"

One weekend that I'd cleared 6 cars out, we decided to come up with some suggestions on what to do with the amber diffusers...

Poindexter did the following along with a blurb: "I seemed to remember this from my old Egyptian History class. If I recall correctly, it is describing an old Egyptian clearing process."

[There were more pics taken at my expense ...but these were some of the funnier ones ]
