or maybe Greyhound would be cheaper. they can't really break or anything, so going with Greyhound this time would be ok as opposed to other times when shipping more delicate items

I would seperate the rims from the tires and send them as a seperate package. You can make it alot cheaper and easier on yourself that way.

i shipped my spoon wheels w/o tires for $50 through ups. i jus handed them the front two(since they are a little lighter) when they asked to weigh them. i'd go w/ greyhound in ur case though

I spent $160 total on 4 rims/tires shipped to AZ and Im from NJ... I used USPS parcel... I took each rim/tire and put a piece of cardboard on the outsides and then ran tape around the package... literally run the tape around so that it surrounds the entire tire...

I just checked out UPS... and unless your doing something wrong theres no reason why you cant ship them for around $100... I typed in my zipcode and Beverly Hills(maximum distance) and i got am estimate for $32 for the rears each and $27 for the fronts... the weight i used was 20.5(rear rim) + 27(rear tire) and made it a solid 50 lbs for shipping weight and used 17.6(front rim) + 22(front tire) and made it 40 lbs. good luck with the shipping... hopefully this helps
