Default Battle of the Dailys!

We were talking about this last night at the meet and were wanting to see if anyone else wanted to join.
We are going to be taking our daily drivers to speedworld to drag race them. We had quite a few people interested and think this would be quite fun to go and race our slow daily drivers. Cost is usually $20 a night if your are racing and $10 to spectate.
We will probably start around 7-8pm that night.
Please sign up with type car you will be racing

Is Speedworld better than Firebird raceway? Firebird runs on saturdays for the same cost and seems a bit more centrally located. Just a thought.

Ronin1- I like speedworld better for a few reasons. They are more laid back there then firebird. They are usually less busy then firebird= more runs. You can run quicker but really I dont think anyone will care about less then a .1 difference in daily driver races. Firebird isnt really that central for all the north siders that were talking about going. Speedworld would be alot closer for most of them.

Watchdogd- If you want to bring the S, That would be awesome. Most people are afraid to drag their S for fear of blowing out their Diff. I have taken my S to the track probably 5-6 times both n/a and boosted and had a lot fun doing it and never broke a diff. Just dont launch it hard.

This is just a night to hang out, have fun and goof around.
I hope a lot of you can make it out!

Hmmm, I'm probably down for this. I'm curious as to what the Forester can do (besides burn oil)

Ill have to fill my civic up with 91, instead of the mid grade stuff I use on a daily basis, since it will see above 5k rpms for the first time in months, and maybe redline in years.

Ill also have to fill it up soon, as it will take a couple weeks to burn off half a tank for that weight reduction advantage.

the tiny exhaust is going to kill me, but im in.

How bad is it if s2k times are slower than the daily, non sport, fwd, non drag daily cars? Lol, not saying mine is faster, but someone's daily may be.
