Default Bride Pros on Craigslist

I don't know if its against the rules or not, but I found these on craigslist today. The price seems stupid cheap so I called up the guy. Went to his house, they look legit.

All of the tags look correct, and he even pulled up the invoice for me to see. The seats look brand new. I want them but after a bit of research it looks like they sit a bit higher than the OEM seats and I am already tall enough as is.

Just figured I would share this with you guys in case anyone is looking for a set of seats on the cheap. I want them, but I can't make them work without looking like Lurch driving the car.

PS: They are MR2 rails on the seats currently. They guy might be heading out to my place to test fit them anyway. We'll see.

I was kind of leery of that as well, but the guy even has the original invoice from the place he bought them from.

Do the seats looks fake or just because of the price?

Edit: I'd like to have a better understanding on how to spot the fakes. From what I know its the labels, the "Made in Japan" on the back of the little tag, and the model number on the label. What else do you look for?

Those are low end Brides, I could see someone selling them that cheap if they are trying for a fast sale. Looks legit to me.

Fake or not they are nice looking. I bet from a distance the average person would not know the difference if they were not authentic.
