Cheerleaders
All,
Club Racing Arizona is hosting a HUGE event at Firebird International Raceway on the 19th. It will start around 4PM. There will be lots of cars out there stylin' and drivin'. There will be music blarin', food vendors, and plenty of action.
We'll have at least three Ss in competition.
Come out! Root for your S2000s! Stop by the SPLNDID tent for free red twizzlers and root for my car as I try to drive my S the fastest in the Time Attack competition.
Admission is free. Watching my S take the track... priceless.
For event schedules, look up "Club Racing Arizona" on Google. The timeline of events should be posted somewhere there.
"RFever" will be competing in his first endurance race. "L8Brakr" and myself will be competing in time trials in our Ss. I think that it will be around 10 PM for the time trials, and near 11 PM for the endurance race.
Bring your bad self and your friends and get loud rooting for SPLNDID in the Time Attack. I'll be signing autographs, kissing babies, and posing for photo shoots with fans.
Come on out. It will be the most fun you've had since the last time you wore diapers. (Me, I'm still wearing 'em! ... never miss a beat at a party!)

I"m not sure ear plugs would fit his small ears but I have extra ones at work I can test in his ears.
My car is back on jack stands. I sent out the manifold, downpipe, and turbine housing to get the 2000 degree coating done. I also have to raise the oil cooler, finish installing cusco 6 point cage, gauges and wiring. I'm hoping by early next month to get the car tuned out here at UMS.

Yeah... It will be loud-ish. Not as loud as a NASCAR event, mind you.
I've brought my young daughter out to the track many times. Granted, this is no "Disneyland"... the crowd still seems to be overall cool.
Toddler bedtime is definitely around 7 PM. I wouldn't bring children between 2 and 5 out there. Babes can sleep, the rest get restless. My 10-yr-old, is somewhat cool with the situation.
Now... outside of kid stuff... the big kids up to 100 should have a ball.
There will be a few loud cars, and perhaps ear-plugs should be prescribed... but for the most part, most cars in this event will be street legal and within tolerant range. Bring the plugs / headsets for good measure.
This event is more of a party and a chance to show all how much fun they can have with their cars in a controlled environment. What you'll see is stuff that you all can do with your street car.
We promote safe driving, while having fun with speed on off-street events. All of you can be part of it.
Be safe,
