Dual entry is pretty neat! I wonder how reliable that turbine will be compared to the conventional ones.

Cool shiz on the turbo design. Actually surprising it took this long for the aerospace industry to feed that tech down to auto, since commercial aviation propulsion hasn't had much in terms of innovation recently. The dirty secret in the industry nowadays is "jet" engines have more fan thrust than actual jet thrust.

So with my newfound interest in track days, I'm looking to pick up a helmet. Checked out saferacer and will try to visit racer's advantage when i'm up in phx next. I've heard mixed advice on getting a closed vs open face. On one hand I hear closed is required in some circuits especially for convertibles, yet I've also heard that open face helmets are suited for street cars, given the srs system and airbags. I'm leaning to just getting a full face, thoughts?

Full face no question especially running top down. I've gotten hit plenty of times in te visor when running top down. Any time I drive top down I put my visor down to protect my face.

I love my new HJC.
