I have a used PC680 in my garage. It did okay in my S2000 for a couple years but did start to drop off a bit in the end. I didn't treat it special at all. now it sits, waiting for stupid little projects that need battery power.

anybody locally running this battery? Thoughts on it?
PC680-P
I am not running this battery, but I know several people (in real life!) that do. It's a motorcycle battery of course and will start your car fine and save some weight. The biggest/only issue with these is they have a smaller capacity so if your car is not driven for long periods of time you risk having the battery run down on you. Along the same lines, they don't preform quite as well in the cold but the S is more of a warm weather car any way...

Bottom line, keep it charged and it will be fine. Try not to listen to the stereo with the car off, ect. You will also have to purchase adapters for the screw in terminals.

Also they make a metal jacket version "MJ" which is the same battery but has... a metal jacket around the plastic area. It's way cooler.

Tom I run something similar in a Braille. I would recommend it. Weight savings are considerable. But if you have a lot of stereo stuff you might opt for a larger battery.

Thanks for the insight guys. I do not have any extra stereo equipment nor do i plan on putting any in so I think itll do just fine. I guess the only issue I may run into is maybe the battery running out on me as I only drive my S 3 or 4 times a month.

you should be fine!
Mine only dies if I don't drive it for at least a month or so. When its cooler out, I drive it 3-4x a month and have no issues
To be honest, I've probably put only 150-200 miles on mine in the last 4 months with how the weather has been
My car still has a Honda battery so I may upgrade to a newer, lighter one soon. Good to see some inexpensive options

not a fun read.

Buyers remorse causing friction with a company that already has bad customer services turning into a snowball. Sounds like a rich idiot buys a car without knowing about it or driving one and is therefore butthurt about the quality of the car which he likely had too high of expectation for coming from Bugatti ownership. He wanted something faster and cheaper than a Veyron and he got something faster and certainly cheaper.. . Bad decision made worse.

That's a crazy story but most seem to discredit this guy. I need to drive one now to render a proper verdict

Or maybe I'll change my savings strategy towards a P1 or Huayra...

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, so I figured I'd just ask here. Anywhere in the valley to order paint? I'm looking for Honda paint code RP-42P.
