Really?

Think about that for a second. Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide. Combustion engines (yours included) run on oxygen.

I'm calling it now, the drawbacks outweigh the benefits. You're welcome to try though.

I don't plan on doing it. I was curious just because I was sure there was something I was not considering, and wanted to learn a little more about something I'm not very knowledgable about.
I had looked it up on google Google and ran across a similar discussion. Apparently some people do it though.

If you do that, it will have to be in a metal container help with heat transfer and vent outside the air stream feeding your intake. In all honesty, you're not going to see enough of a difference in an NA application to be worth the bother.

Is that really true? (Requiring Oxygen) I thought combustion engines simply required air to compress with the appropriate mix of fuel.

There is quite a difference between using physics to transfer heat vs actually putting something in the intake. I think that's the takeaway here.

May have found an OEM Silverstone passenger side fender. Exactly what I need. I contacted the guy and as long as it is good enough I'm going to spring on it.

Only problem is that it's in San Diego...so if anyone has their eye on parts down there and this pans out, let me know and I can go pick them up for you lol

Isn't someone local selling all their SSM panels? I thought I saw a FS post here last week.
