Coffee Twalk
that is a 993. a good 993 will run you 20-30k. if you want a 993S that will still go for 45-55k (miles play a BIG role for P-cars)
i was reading that a real RWB kit will run you 18-19K but that includes the wheels.
i want some type of P-car next.... but how much to spend?
I'd like to offer my input on knock off parts.
I love cars. Like you guys, I love driving them. Like you guys, I love building them.
It doesn't matter what you build, unless it looks dumb or you're an idiot. I put LM knock offs on my Lexus. I loved the look, there were much cheaper, easier to replace and got nothing but compliments. If you hated them because they were knock offs then I don't consider you a real auto enthusiast. True enthusiasm exists as at a molecular level, not a superficial, pompous, sense-of-entitlement, judgmental level. One day we all die. The memories you look back on will not be of your real vs fake parts. It will be in what you enjoyed. I look at that red s2k up there and I have NO IDEA what is real, and what isn't. Truth is, I could care less. How much do I love cars though? I'm flying to MD on Friday to drive a rare-to-me Lexus home... by myself. It's pretty much stock too! I just flat out love cars. Furthermore, if I cheap out on parts and go knock off, I'm intelligent enough to understand that potential opportunity cost. Know what, my knock off LM's NEVER gave me a problem.
That said, it's all metal, it's all plastic, and hopefully it's all carbon fiber. In the end, these parts only build up what I real love, which is not parts, it's the hobby of cars. I can rock knock offs tastefully, and it builds on what I really enjoy out of this hobby. When people start to moan about my style, screw em. I don't come here for them or their validation.

Convertibles spotted driving around on the morning commute:
Saab 9.3, Chrysler Sebring (x2), Jeep, Corvette, Mustang, MX-5, VW Beetle, + 2 more for a total of 10.
Of those ten, number which had the top down........
Zero.
Come on, people! We live in Arizona!!!
