Coilover help!
I left my car with a friend who owns an S, and he swore up and down he could install the coilovers for me. I was going out of down for the day, and he said he'd have them done when I got back. I get a call around 9:45 pm, saying he couldn't finish the install. I went to his house, and after discovering what happened, I wanted to punch him in the face. The Driver rear was on fine, the passenger rear was on, but the body was facing backwards, and the bolt/nut that holds the shock tower to the lower arm was threaded 3/4 of the way and the nut stripped, so there was play. The fronts weren't even on because he said he would have to disassemble to entire front of the car to gain clearance to remove the old and install the new. I'll tell you what, NEVER trust your friends with your car. Needless to say, I put the car back together and drove it home, and that person is now an ex friend. Would any of you gents be kind enough to install the fronts for me, and correct the passenger rear? I'd be more than willing to pay for the work. This is something I would love to do myself but my work schedule is all over the place. The coils are Buddy Club N+.
Not sure which side of town you're in but if you want to come by today, I can take care of the fronts in about an hour.
I'll be around until 7.
Send me a PM.
I don't know about the re-thread though. Maybe Madhav can fix it.
You shouldn't be driving like that.
If it's the lower bolt, better to just replace it.

If it's what I think it is, the long bolt that attaches the bottom of the shock to the lower control arm, you should be able to just take that to Ace hardware and find the same one. It's metric but I don't know the exact numbers.
