Default comptech supercharger?

I have been toying with the idea of getting the comptech supercharger for my S2K. Does anyone have this installed on their car? and what has your satisfaction been with the car's performance?

Just curious!

I had mine installed last week and im happy with it so far. The horsepower difference is felt more after the vtec point. Not so much at lower rpms, but you can still feel the added power though out.

There are plenty of threads on this topic. Not to sound like an ass, but please perform a search for "comptech sc, supercharger" and the like.

My brother has it on his 2001, he has had it almost a year now without any problems at all..
I am considering adding one in about 6-8 months..
as stated above it is really felt at the top rpm's, but helps the power band throughout somewhat..

If you're interested in numbers, the dyno on Comptech's site is from my car. I'd be happy to share details if you'd like.

Car is virtually unchanged below 5k except for a little vibration at 3.4-4.5k felt through the gear shift. Once you hit 6k it takes off.

I have had my supercharger on my car for almost 9 months now and I love it. I installed it at 3500 and now have 15,500 miles without any problems at all. I love the way it sounds & feels. I swapped out the borsche bypass valve with a greddy type s BOV for that extra PWOOSH sound. Since no one on the road knows its supercharged, its a ton of fun to watch those people who know their car should kill a stock s2000 get walked on by me (ie S4, M3's, C5s non-z06, Camero SS, etc). The look on their faces are priceless.

I have a V-AFC installed and its safely tuned on a dyno at 301.5rwhp. I'd post the pic, but since photopoint went down, i lost my only scanned copy of my dyno sheet. I will rescan it soon. I called Bob @ Comptech earlier this month and the intercooler is still slated, but delayed until mid summer. They are trying to get their CL-S supercharger out the door.
