I have a 6" and 8" version of these from Sears. They do work well and come in very handy as long as you have plenty of space around the bolt/nut.
If it gets dirty (grit in the mechnism) it will start to tighten early and not properly grip the nut/bolt. Blow it out with compressed air and shoot some WD40 and its back to good as new.
