Default The CORRECT oil filter!!

This is just a heads up to all you that take your S in for the oil to be changed by the dealer rather than changing it yourself......

Make sure they are putting on the correct oil filter. I know this topic has been murdered in the "under the hood" forum but I figured it was worth a post since we have a lot of new members. AND since they just put the wrong one on my car!!!

Correct Part # 15400-PCX-004 = S2000

Incorrect Part # 15400-PLM-A02 or A01 = Civic & Accord

The incorrect filers are considerably smaller and I am sure they will screw something up... lol

Good luck,
Jerry

Check the part number on your oil filter waterbug... LOL
From what I understand all the dealers do this unless you babysit them!

yeah. i've heard it's real common, since somewhere honda dealers thought that the S was just like any other honda.

Waterbug,

Be sure to ask for Andy at Right Honda. He's a Honda Master Certified, Platinum level mechanic and knows the S cars inside out. Great guy!

FYI ,
