I did this one time, and combined it with one of Discount tires holiday promotions and saved quite a bit. I wonder if DT is doing a deal this weekend, I could use some new tires.

 

I've always got tires on sale for you guys 1 dollar above cost on all firestone/bridgestone tires..... mounting balance and road hazard only 20 bucks a tire

Bah, it doesn't seem OnlineTires has the EVO2
But TireRack has them for about the same price after rebate.

FYI I've had my first set on the Lexus for 25K miles now and there is still some life left.
Treadwear on the EVO1's is 280...seems like 320 on the EVO2's.

Looks like Sumitomo also has a $50 off at TireRack. Maybe I'll try the HTRZIII for $100 less.

Seems like May is the month to buy tires.

I normally would not suggest MIRO or XXR type wheels, but for a daily driver, cheap replaceable wheels fill the void
