Dec Autocross'
I feel bad I didn't say anything about the sign-up for the driving school. I found out about it late and just snuck in when there were only 2 slots left. I think all slots were taken in a week! Oh well, sounds like there are plenty of experienced local drivers that are willing to help us out.

LMK if anyone needs help getting started in autocross. I am always willing to take riders during time only (practice runs). Come see what R-compound tires can do.
Here are two videos, one from Phoenix May 20 and one from Tucson October 28.

You all should know that the environment is very friendly at an autocross. Drivers will be focused when competing, but you won't see big egos. Driving autocross is a humbling experience because getting your best time is very challenging. That's what draws us all back each time. Of course hearing and feeling what your car can do out there is thrilling as well.
Most everyone is willing to help you out to learn the ropes of an event or improve your driving skills. During Time Only runs (aka practice runs) you can approach anyone with any car and ask for a ride. 99% of the time the answer will be a welcoming yes. On rare occasion a driver may be wanting to make a run by them self to try something out.
The other thing is that everyone driving there was new at some time and they understand that may be where you are at. We expect you as a new driver to focus on the basics and not have the fastest times. That will come with seat time. Don't be embarrassed, just be determined to learn and improve. Ask for help. Everyone out there will help you. It may take a few events to get comfortable, but they will all be fun.

There might be one opening left for the Driver's School on the 15th.
