Default Driver wanted

I have a favor to ask.

For the last 6 months I have been complaining about this steering uneven feel and after being to numerous dealerships, alignment checks etc including Earnhardt, the steering is still uneven.

I would like to ask if someone else that has a Stock AP2 would be willing to drive my car and can either say their car has the the same uneven feel or no' there something is different with mine.

I have had a case open with American Honda, have tried to get them to send a rep out, and I'm sure by this point with as many trips to the dealership, they are beginning to think I'm crazy. Hell I'm beginning to think I'm crazy

So... If someone would be available over the next few weeks, like on a weekend, I could drive over to your place and let you drive my car. And maybe I could drive yours. Again it would have to be Ap2 stock since thats what mine is. Any weekend after this Saturday is good. Or weekday evening.

Thanks,

I thought you had this fixed.

Come out to the track this weekend and I'll help you out. Plenty of time between sessions

I am having a similar problem with mine after getting it back from the body shop. It seems to pull a little to the right during WOT!! only in between shifts though. I would also like for someone to drive my car. I too have been goin crazy over it

Mine isnt a pull at all. Its simply steering is more resistant on left turns than right.

The funny thing was 3 weeks ago i changed tires and the steering resistance issue completely flip flopped to the opposite side. So I had discount tire take those new ones off and put new Stock Bridgestone RE050's back on now the steering issue is back to the left side.

Something tells me it might be characteristic of these tires but if so I find it odd to say the lease. I can't imagine I'm the only S owner who would notice something like this if it was normal.

I also recommend stopping by PIR this weekend. There will be a few AP2 pilots there that could test drive your car but I don't think any of theirs are stock for you to drive. There are also a couple instructors that are former S2000 owners that are very knowledgeable about this stuff.

Check the sticky track thread for info on this weekend at PIR.

I'll be there. My suspension is still stock, so you can maybe drive mine and see if it's the same as yours and vice versa.

Sat and Sun.
