Early this fall a few of us are going on a tour through southern New Mexico ( from Albuquerque).
We would like to make this a big Fall meet in Silver City, NM.
The date is the weekend of October 15th. I just wanted to post this now to get you all ready for a senic drive to this meet. We plan on getting a group rate on rooms if you wish to stay overnight and plan on going to the Gila Cliff Dwellings.

I will require info of all attending and a small fee to join which pays for tour shirts (2), the BBQ, and a tour packet which will have maps, drive info, senic spots along your way, and more. Non of the fee goes into mine or anybody else's pocket.
If you are interested please post, so I can get an idea of how many will be attending.

An interesting 6 hour drive from PHX through Safford... Hmmmm....

That would be a great drive from Phx.! Great scenery all the way. The first 4 hours from Abq is boring but fast.


The weekend mentioned above is most Lilly going to be it so get the work leave and join us!

We are going to have a BBQ in the national park or at this big park in the city where car shows are usually held.
I'm getting tour shirts made as well as personalized maps, info, attractions and lots more to make this a fun experience for everybody!

 

Is there a drive planned on 191/666?

 

Coming from where? I see a 191/61 and other 191 routes to silver city.

The plan is: send me you location, I will make a custom pack per person on how to get to silver city and what you will see and what not along the way.

 

Whats the NM roll call look like? I know a few of those guys
