Default Fast Forward Header testing*** Installed****

So after my first round of header testing not working out so well...... I thought I would try again

Jeff from Fast Forward ( he does our cylinder head work) and I talked and came up with a game plan to tackle the header..... The first verion is geared towards the bolt on crowd..IE most s2k owners, like me who have an intake and exhaust and are looking for a little more ooomph. It will be designed to make decent power out of the box.

Here is how its shaping up so far

I will have it in my hands tomorrow and dynoed by Saturday.......

Also there will be a race version that incorporates the test pipe and some different piping for the big HP NA and SC guys..that will come later

we wont stop until we have a winner with both versions

AND A WINNER IT IS

OK here it is.....the Final version of the OEM sized replacement header

we were pretty happy with the gains from previous version

Purple is Final version
Red is previous version

here is the overlay

Solid is Final version
Dotted is previous version

Here is OEM vs the Fast Forward Header

Purple is FF
Light blue is OEM

Solid is FF Header
dotted is OEM

Here are pics of the First Production unit

AKA MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in the jig

hmmmm is that an S2000 cylinder head????? what could we do to that?????

Jeff- the man who put in all the effort, with my baby!

Awesome! Would be great to see a local company produce their own dyno proven header.

Nice straight flow. Wouldn't Geoff from FR be interested in helping with his thermodynamics experience? Their turbo EM is still tops in FI.

I'm curious how much the finished product will weigh. Stock exhaust manifolds are usually pretty porky.
