So, a test pipe for the stock set up is 60mm, for a turbo set up it's going to be 70mm to mate with the larger exhaust. You're probably looking at buying that part twice, but it's pretty cheap so it's not a huge problem.

For the tune, I'm saying you buy the Flashpro now... why? To run it and get a few HP which is going to require a tune. Then when you go turbo you pay for a re-tune. Depending on where you go this runs anywhere from $200-$600. Then you need to decide where you want to go for the tune. I'm not sold on the local tuner that SOS uses, specifically after seeing Nicks cars after he paid them a shit ton of money for a re-tune, but other people are happy with them so you might be fine.

You seem like you have a pretty solid grasp on what you want to do, just make sure you only have to buy parts once. I've seen lots of people spend way more than they should have by rushing things, or changing their minds mid-build. Like I said, the best advice I can give you is going to be to research until you have read damn near everything multiple times.

Thank you by the way, maybe one day we can all do a detailing day or something.

Another thing is do you plan on taking the car to the track? If so that's a whole other ball game. I am intimately familiar with this subject.

In the interest of not derailing this thread, I'll just say this: I blew a motor on the track back in March.

I totally forgot I have a story for all that, I'll post up a build thread with all that.

So you need 275/285 wide tires because that is the only way you will have enough traction with all season tires?

Congrats on your purchase. These are drivers cars and are to be treated like one. Feezy went thru all the details already. I was biten by the bug prior to purchasing this car and it hurts. This being my second turbo car, there is still LOTS to learn. Nonetheless, I enjoy every RPM of it

Sidenote: Feezy did I read a detailing day?

Unfortunately. Most local places don't carry performance stuff in our size, at least in Tucson.
