You seem to suggest that manufacturers are responsible for what their products are used for, which sometimes is bad and therefor everyone should be held accountable for what their products are used for. I was suggesting that if that were the case, no products would ever be made because the liability for the producers would soon outweigh the profits they make from making those products. I think that is a silly argument.

 

Well I implied more responsibility not accountability. At least some reasonable effort should be done to ensure technology and scientific advancement doesn't end up in the wrong hands. But I completely understand that it shouldn't be a hindrance to advancement.
