Default Freeway Help

Hey All,

I'll be driving from Dallas to San Diego this weekend and will be passing through your Arizona on I-40, I-17 and I-10. I was wondering a couple things...

1) Are these freeways decently maintained? Or am I going to be dodging rocks like nobody's business?

2) Are there any well known speed-traps I can keep an eye out for?

Any help would be great!! Thanks, Chris

You shouldn't be touching 17 or 40 if you're going to San Diego unless you have some other stops planned. Stay on I-10 until you hit the 8 about 20-30 minutes past Tucson. Road conditions are good as far as I know.

Is it possible he's taking the 40 out, the 17 down, then the 10 over. If that is the case watch out for Cherry Road (wanna say its exit 179) usually a few cops sitting there hanging out.

That was my mis-type...I forgot that I'm staying the night in Tucson, so I will only be on the 10. I had originally run the Yahoo Map straight from Dallas to SD. When I factor in the stop, it keeps me on I-10. Thanks for the tips!

It should always keep you on the I-10, if it pushes you up to the 40 you have problems, especially this time of year...possiblity of crappy weather in the mountains...

Stay to the south - roads are better than California or New Mexico here.
