Skip the STI. Get a Golf R if you don't mind a hot hatch. Tranny is better, motor has forged components. Will hold re-sale better. Better interior.

I came from a Subaru, and would never sell a S2000 to get into a Subaru. Subaru's, evo's etc are no replacement for the driving joy that is a S2000. Sure they might have more room, and be faster, but they are not as encompassing and pleasurable to drive. my 2cents.
