So, a few of us had a good discussion about possibilities for the meet.
Something Maria mentioned on the way home yesterday was the possibility of using the stadium parking lot for the saturday bbq.
I suggest we start with finding a place for the meet and getting an idea how much t-shirts will cost. Next step would be getting a sign up started and figuring out how much registration will cost based on t-shirt costs and . Include in the sign up a question regarding interest in activities, and how long they'd prefer those activities to be.
Registration should include number of attendees (1 or 2), t-shirt size(s), color, activity preference.

Lets try and get some sponsors for the event....someone who has illustrator, can they please come up with a shirt design? I can TRY to do it in paintshop, but it won't be as good 
Also, lets try and get some interest in the other states and hopefully we can tally up how many people are coming and go from there

We need to pick a date range, and then try to find a venue. Once we get that set, we can concentrate on getting interest in other states. As is, we don't know when or where this thing is going to go down, lol.

Skibum, want to try calling FIR and PIR, see if there's an open date in March/April/May?
If we do the stadium parking lot, we might be able to set up an Auto-x course for those who are interested.
Anyone know a lawyer or have experience with waivers? Regardless of what we do, we need a waiver to exempt the organizers and whatever venue we use.
