It's a 2.5, with a 97mm stroke so UMS had to lower the rev limit.

That makes a lot of sense. GT motoring has mentioned that they have blown several 2.2's at 9k, I don't see why you would want to risk spinning a 2.4 up that high specifically when it's your only car. If it was a dedicated track car then sure, but even then, when you're paying for motors out of your own pocket it seems like it would add up so quickly.

Nice to see the 2.5 doing it's job. For 10psi, torque is great and power is at least +60hp over a 2.2.

Nope, definitely not just you. I was discussing this with Chris and I'll probably get a 30R which would be much more appropriately sized for my application. The boost does take a while, but when it hits 5k it's crazy, very 911-like.
