Got stood up...
Hi Guys,
I'm not usually a person to start any trouble, and I would just like to let my fellow s2ki family know that I was stood up yesterday, Sat July 24th, 2010.
Long story short, I've been talking to a potential buyer for my car for about two days, and he seemed really interested in the car, and wanted to meet up and pick up the car on saturday.
Well, being the nice person I am, I decided I'll meet him out 100 miles from San Diego, since he was driving from phoenix/el mirage/surprise area.
I got a buddy of mine to drive out with me so I can get a ride back, compensated my buddy for gas, filled up my car full tank for the buyer, and waited for nearly 2.5hrs for him to show up after our scheduled time.... NO show, no answered phone calls.
*** What is really pisses me off is I called him in the morning right before I left to confirm he was going to meet up, and he said he was on his way....the nerve of some people....***
So the whole day afterwards he never answered my phone calls or text, and left it at it, no explanation after leaving several voice mails, etc....
I have the guys #, his picture, and his full name.....

I'm really tired of jerk off's like this, and hopefully no one else has to deal with anything else like this ever in their lifetime.
I mean, come on, we're not in high school anymore, if he's not going to show up, at least have the common courtesy to say so, be a man, and just say I'm not interested anymore or whatever. So wasted half my day, and my friends day, wasted money for gas on not one but two cars.
Hopefully no one knows this ass hat, karma will be back around, and when it does, he'll know exactly why he was chosen.

Sorry to hear that. I hate selling stuff, so many flakers and low ballers out there. Good luck with the sale, hopefully you will find someone who really wants the car and will truly appreciate it. I bought a car in the SD area once, flew out and drove it back.

Wow. That sucks. I'd be a bit annoyed as well.
But just to play the devils advocate here. Maybe he was in a car accident or some other kind of major emergency medical situation that kept him from showing & getting in contact with you???

Man, that does suck. Maybe next time have them paypal you a $300-500 deposit to cover your travel costs if this were to happen again. Explain this situation and if the person doesn't like that idea, then they probably aren't that serious. GLWS
