Greetings...
What's up AZ S2000 fans? My name is Tommy and I don't have an S2000, but I do have a 350Z. By this time, you're probably wondering what a 350Z guy is doing on your forum. You're probably also thinking one of the following responses...
a) You should get an S2000.
b) This guy must be lost (typical of a Z owner).
c) Oh no! Not another one.
d) All of the above.
The correct response is D. I stumbled across your AZ club and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a fan of all sporty cars and the S2000 definitely qualifies. One of the hardest decisions I've had to make was S2000 or Z. Well, AZ is a great place to explore, especially in a nice car, and I was hoping to join up with you guys on some future events. If you don't mind having a Z around, I'm thinking the Tombstone run in December will be my first one with your club.
Anyways, just wanted to say hi to everyone. Z ya later!

Well, let me be the first to say "welcome to the AZ S2000 Club" and I hope to meet you soon. You won't find a better group of people to be associated with. I do feel like the odd man out when we have drives. I am usually the only non S2000 that participates in the drives and it would be nice to see a new face. You won't find a more giving group than what you will experience here.
Again, welcome to the club. Just be prepared for wise cracks (good natured) and know it's all in fun and games. The Z is a wonderful piece of machinery and I like it a lot. The four doors are a bit more practical for me though.

Why would I want to hang out with S2000's? I figure since I can't afford to have one too, I'd find people who have them and hopefully they'd be kind enough to let me borrow it some day. Doubtful, but I can dream can't I?
I actually am a part of a Z car club in AZ, but drives just aren't frequent enough for me. My friends (one with a motorcycle and one with a Porsche 944) go cruising on our own sometimes too, but I'm just looking to see and do as much as I can with my car.

Hi Tommy,
Welcome, Jayhawker wrote that up the best of anyone so far.
Then, understand that Jerry is our resident a$$ - who forgets to sign up for drives until Friday night at 11:59PM and then doesn't understand why he didn't get the email on where to meet?!? Of course, the last time, I was the a$$ and decided not to accomodate his last minute request
And there are few clubs that do what we do.
