Hey guys, i had a quick question, im going to Japan in april, and ahve a dealer in japan thats is reserving me a 1991 R32 GTR, does anyone have knowledge on legalization etc? (if its that bad ill just use it as a race car) But also hah, would it be allowed in the AZ S2K drives even though its not a sexy S? thanks

This is an expensive proposition.

The car is old so the cost in Japan is nothing.....The Japanese love new cars so when a car gets a few years on it the floor drops out of the valuation.

That is the cheap part. Getting it through customs and emissions is expensive. There is a company out of southern california that imports them. I think www.skylinegtr.com......also http://www.suninternational-usa.com/ brings cars here also in so. cal.

I was going to go the elise with the b18b but I chickened out.

That would be a great car to have. If you get it, take me for a ride! It would cost around $10,000 to make it legal to drive in the US from what I've seen.

imho, the old versions of the skyline where ugly.. if it's not 98+ then it's not worth the effort to bring it over.. that is all, -gage
