Default Hello

Hello. I just logged on to S2KI. I met Gloffer last weekend @ Bondurant. He informed me about all the great info for my S2000. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Glad to see you found us Punch, let me be the first to welcome you on board. Great discussing S2K stuff with you at Firebird, although a little cold and wet. Too bad you've got a Black/Black. Hope to be seeing you in the near future; Yarnell run on Dec 8??

Sorry, I can't make this one. I have a x-mas party on sat. night. I will try to make the next one. Can you give me the info on AandH and the liner you have under your roof so it doesn't scratch.
Good to hear from you,
Punch

That's weak, I've got a Christmas party too, we plan on being back in town by 3:00 PM or so. My party starts at 6:30, so that gives me some time to get gussied up.

For info on the Muz Mat, just click on the Site Sponsors caption in the line at the top on the web site and go down till you see Muz Mat.

HandA is a dealer and provides genuine Honda parts at a discount, make sure you check them out too, but they won't have a mat.

Good luck and until you get the Muz Mat make sure you put a towel or soft cloth in the convertible top well for your window to rest on.

I did Yarnell hill today on motorcycle. Be careful, there is a speed trap there every Saturday. You can not see the guy when you are coming up. He uses markers on the guard rail and binoculars to time you. Now we were definitely breaking th e 35 mph speed limit by quite a bit, but several people were ticketed that day. Most of the speeds that got tickets were doing in excess of 60mph, but one guy got a warning for doing 45mph. It kind of takes the fun out of it.

You can see the guy on the way down the hill, so maybe someone should run the hill first, and come back down to check for the officer first.

Those AZ guys are so spoiled with those S2000 designed road curves right in their backyard.

Dave T.,

Can you give us some details of where they are located? Are they hidden at all or are they easy to see? It sounds like a good idea to find him before he finds us.

And thanks for the warning --

Tanq,

Going up, you can not see them, but the guys I spoke with at the cafe at the top tell me that you can see him on the way down. I guess his car is hidden and he's out of the cruiser with binoculars. Sending a scout up first, and having him come back down (it doesn't take long!) would at least confirm whether he's there or not. I don't know exactly where he's hidden.
