What's up everyone. Long time lurker, first time AP1 owner haha. Picked up a cherry 01 last Sunday. Was also pleasantly surprised when I remembered my login here LOL.

I was looking for an NC Miata about a month ago when I spotted a 2003 S2000 for sale outside Houston. It looked good online, had 37,800 miles... and a salvage title. Found out the damage was to the right rear quarter panel. The sheet metal was not hid hard, so the body didn't buckle, and the damage was repaired with bondo and paint. Now, since this will be a track day toy, I'd actually rather it had a salvage title because clean-title ones are more worth saving for their investment value. Anyway, I called the guy as soon as I saw the ad on Thursday afternoon, flew over there early Friday morning, bought the car and drove it 1100 miles home. It's 100% stock at this point. I've taken it up past Bartlett reservoir and on a couple of other day trips and love it. The only problem is the damn EPS keeps going in and out, and the car's nowhere near as much fun in the twisty stuff with no power steering!!! I found this doc that looks very helpful: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...TbSfJzPYE/edit
I think that was originally posted in a forum here at S2KI but I don't have the thread. Anyway, it looks like a good solution but I don't have a place to work on it or all the necessary tools. I've been trying to get help with it through the S2KI forums but so far no go. If anyone wants to get into this - it really doesn't look difficult - I'll supply the pizza, beer, money, whatever. Get in touch... and have a great day - thanks.
New to the forum. Bought this 2003 back in August. Installed new dark blue soft top, AP2 V1 wheels powder coated Evo Grey with new tires, amidst other things. Plan to install a stock exhaust to replace the Skunk2 exhaust that's on there (it'll be up for sale shortly if anyone's interested). Might do the UK Mod, might not. Got an oem style front bumper lip coming that i need to have painted, then i'll install that. Also have some coilovers I will put on, then lower the car 0.5"-1.0", then I might be done for a while. In the meantime enjoying drives around town and up to Jerome...

New to forum and just shipped 2002 S2000 from Northern CA. Sorry if posting to wrong spot, but need recommendation for a quality shop that can maintain the car (brakes, transmission, suspension, fluids...). Live in Wickenburg, approximately 1hr northwest of Phoenix. I currently have an issue with the wipers, so looking for a shop capable of troubleshooting and repairs. Thanks again for any assistance if recommending a shop.
