It's been a long time...
Hey,
I recognize a few of the names, but there are a lot of new ones that I don't. Good to see the AZ S2K group going strong. Some of you may remember me.
Anyway, since my departure from the club several years ago (when I sold my Silverstone) several sports cars have come and gone from my garage. None have put a smile on my face like the S has. So guess what? Tomorrow my wife and I are going to take a look at an '06.
I see that the new dealer of choice is Earnhardt. Anything I need to do, or anyone I need to contact so that I can get a good deal? I plan on jumping back into the club so I thought I should post here first before going down there.
I'm looking for a GPW and black one. We'll see what happens.

Hey Tom!!
Awesome news on coming back to an S
Contact Lori Frost and let her know that you're interested in looking at the 06. She's the service advisor for the AZ S2000s and she'll put you in touch with the fleet folks (Mark Milligan is the Fleet Manager and Joey Staples is the General Sales Manager). Just mention that you're part of the S2K club and they will arrange EVERYTHING. Earnhardt will take care of you
Back to the 06, I believe they have 1 out front cos I checked that one out when I was there on Thursday night picking up a part. I think it was silver though. They should be able to get you your color choice in a relatively short time.
Anyways, give me a ring if you need more info!
Mervin.

I'm new, I'm new...youngin up from Prescott. But boy can he race
just to make sure...you've researched the changes with the 06's right? Primarily drive-by-wire throtle, rims, seats...thats the main part. Also the AP2 is quite different from the AP1...in short its a little more refined, a little easier to drive...but still just as quick

Hey guys,
Thanks for the info. I called Lori, and she's going to have someone call me back shortly.
Yeah, I've done my homework. Hopefully, I can get some seat time to feel the DBW.
I'll keep you posted.

Good luck on "rejoining" us
The Earnhardt folks are great to deal with - I finally am getting around to having a service done there this week. I've also spoken with several in sales although I ended up buying my latest car in Tucson this past weekend (long story) since nobody in Phoenix had what we wanted. Best/easiest car purchase I've ever done though so it was worth the drive.
