i dont think so.. i mean people sell tons of knock off /copied products all the time and i never see anything get done.. but if you say they are the actual product i think customers can do something about it..
True, but big difference in stating it upfront that it's a knockoff compared to being an authorized distributor selling knockoffs as the real thing.

did they claim that it was the real thing? i can see that being bad business practice to be an authorize dealer and selling knockoffs of the product on the side.. but on a legal stand point is there anything that J's can do?

Yes, I believe that they are saying that AJR sold counterfeit j's products packaged as real ones.

Yeah that's the entire basis of the complaint. J's even went and bought some stuff off of AJR without them knowing. What was supposed to be authentic, J's felt was counterfeit.

There was a lot of debate over J's exhaust systems and there mufflers failing and rattling with a lot of memebers that purchased them from AJ

Yup.

Sounds like they didn't just list an item as a J's product and sell it as such, but they went as far as making fake J's boxes and packaging tape.

that sucks.. i wonder what customers who bought "J's products" can do about it.. that would suck to pay thousands of dollars for J's products to then fid out they were knockoffs..
