local dyno
I have to add this, but any and all things referring to Vivid Racing and complaints should be taken strictly at face value. I will say this, the NASIOC problem was the result of one person who worked at Vivid and did some shady things. They aren't like that anymore. I know them quite well and they all mean well. They are the only shop in the valley actually working at getting involved with road racing and some of them drive themselves at track events. Just give them a second chance. I also know their tuner personally, he's a really cool guy and takes great pride and car in what he does. I'm picky, VERY picky i wouldn't recommend them if I didn't think they could do a good job.
Reviving an old post, I think I found dyno comp (in scottsdale) but where is Az dyno Chip in chandler? Anyone have contact info?
I am having Cesae install the vortech and clutch and would like a before and after. I hope one of the shops can fit me in before monday.

The shop might know this, but they are giving me a half hour to run as much as I want. Excuse my ignorance, but do they run through all the gears, or pick a gear to run? I think 3rd gear pulls the hardest, but is there any protocol I should ask for specific to our cars?
I want to say I ran in 4th gear last time out, but I think 5th is actually closer to 1:1 ratio, it may have been 5th, I honestly don't remember. But they take all that into account there. Normally you'd want run the gear closest to 1:1 ratio, unless there's a problem running in that gear (speed limiter, etc..)
