I have the exact same tear, only on the driver's side. I've got some patch material (thanks Adrs2k), but haven't tried to patch it yet.

They have it at hardtopguy.. its on sale for $20 for a 300mmx300mm piece:

I would take it here if you want it and it can be patched. I think they quoted me $50
They have done several S2000 tops and are very familiar with the problem areas that need patching.

As for replacing the whole top, Honda had this company do mine and it came out great. I also heard they are very fairly priced.
Just buy the parts as cheap as you can and have them do the work.

I can put a patch on but the bottom edges need stitched. I shouldn't have bought a new plastic back window. For $200 more bucks I could have bought a used rip free glass window top.

I am in the same boat. I need a new top on my 04 S2000. I was quoted 1,500 for installation and everything from a local upholster. Including 2 years of guarantee on the top. Is that a good deal?

I think they said 5 yrs. I'll verify today. Dropping the car off so they'll be done tomorrow afternoon.
