Damn this sucks, sorry to hear about that. I was actually thinking about this yesterday (not stealing them). If you passed one along to me, I could measure it and draw one to pass on to a machine shop, or the easiest thing might be to find a machine shop locally, take one to the shop, and ask them to make you a couple spares. It might not be cheap, but would certainly be nice to have. Yes they would not be originals, but you could rock the replacements and not worry too much! It would not be difficult for someone to machine them, then get them coated. Just a thought!

And another thing, in the future, you should consider maybe using a little loctite, or torquing them to something that cannont be undone with your hand. You would have to buy a specialty socket (expensive in that size) but would certainly give you the piece of mind, and you would not have to worry about them working their way lose, and flying off, which certainly could have happened.

As Adam suggested, take it to a shop. Better yet, bring it to me and I'll have it made at my work. I can only make the overall shape, not the writing in the caps though.

It is epic BS if someone from the s2k'rs actually took it.

We are here to have civil, respectful meets and we expect everyone to behave at greater than junior high level.

If this doesn't improve, meets will stop happening and we all lose.

These items have much higher personal value to the owner than the few dollars you can make selling it.

Nik, is there any chance it came loose and fell off? Were the others on there tight? I hate to think someone stole it. We were around the cars the entire time....

Not sure if it came loose and fell off. I see it being highly unlikely. I installed all 4 right before coming to the meet for one last time before Brandon and I were going to put the LM's back on.

The other 3 were tight, I drove all the way to Cali and back with them on and didn't have an issue.

My only thought is it happened when we were inside grabbing dinner, small time frame and ballsy.

I am working on a fix now, I will keep you guys posted.

I am not sure if its worth it to try and have extra's made, think I will just keep my eyes peeled for other sets of these wheels floating around and try to pick them up.

Thank you all for the help!

BTW After installing the LM's I drove back up Bell road to the meet spot crawling along in the left lane with my brights on seeing if I could just see it laying in the road.

Stopped by In an Out again and saw Chris and the guys.

Drove back down Bell to Brandons house, right lane, crawling with my brights on looking for it.

No Dice.
