Making the best of a DUI

Making the best of a DUI
I posted this in another forum but being from Arizona I think you all should know how much this would effect your lives too.
A month ago today I was caught doing the single most regrettable thing in my life.
Driving under the influence.
$1856 in fines
16 hours of alcohol class $$
8 hours of traffic survival school $
3 days (2 days work release) jail time
12 months of $75/month ignition interlock device $$$
9 points on my license will surely increase my insurance rates for the next few years $$$$
and the killer...Suspended license for 30 days + 60 days restricted to work and school only after that.
That's just the civilian side, I'm military and they've had their say in it too.
Now, I want to try to make the best of this. I am still alive, uninjured, nobody else was injured and the car is still in perfect shape..
My question to the community is this:
What is one thing you would do to your car that people usually say "I would do that, but this is my daily driver and I could not afford to go that long without a car?
This is my PSA people. If you've never used a breathalyzer before, find one and see how impaired you really are... I was shocked to see .127 and then a set of handcuffs.

Sorry to hear but I am not sympathetic. You made the choice to drive and knew what you were doing.
If you are going to drink always ride with someone who is sober. Problem solved.

What branch? AF? I know you've heard about AADD (A2D2)? First Shirt? Supervisor?
Sorry, I know it's not what you want to hear...but I know that I've sat through I don't know how many briefings, and been told to call the Shirt, or a buddy, or a cab, etc. I find it hard to feel empathetic towards a military member that gets a DUI. You should unequivocally know better than to get in your car after even one drink.

I would do wb-kit, FI with a stroker kit and a HUUGEE turbo with all of the supporting mods, fully gutted and caged, very lightweight flywheel, harsh clutch, re-enforced drive train. etc etc....
Or an LS1 conversion
