I use mine to keep in touch with old friends and military friends....
sure there is email but I have had to change my email addy when I moved over here 3 years ago and lost a lot of contacts

though had myspace already with a lot of them on it...always a back up

not everyone has to be the one with 43820483842 friends.... I try to keep my list small so I can check out people I know without digging through lists

plus I like a lot of underground hiphop so I put the artists I like on my page and can see when new shits coming out or tours/concerts
