Default Need help

Want to put on my coil overs sometime soon. Dont have air tools so dont know how to remove the top bolt off the strut. It just keeps on spinning. last time i did them i ended up putting a vice grip on the strut so it couldn't rotate while i took off the bolt. I really wouldn't like to do that again because i know its bad. Anyone have air tools. Maybe we could meet up sometime and let me use them...maybe even get some help ^_^ I provide food

uhhh.
Have done several suspension changes.
You have to compress the springs.
Rent a spring compressor from your local parts shop. They will refund your deposite when you turn the tool back in.
PM me. I have a splendid garage. I can help you.

I'm in SE Gilbert, near Queen Creek.
I'd trust SKIBUM.
We're here to help.
What coilovers do you have?
We'll need to know what work is required.

First off, ask what car it is on. I would tell you but I don't want to ruin the fun.

Nah Ski...
It won't matter what version of S2k model. What really matters is the coilover model. We've done AP1 and AP2 coilovers, and total packages to include shocks and coils.
For example... HR springs will not require any mods to the stock shocks.
Konis require a drilling out of the top bumper.
Just tell us what exactly are the coilover models you want to do.
Give us more details, and through our experience and location, we can help.
I have KW Variant 3's on mine. Love 'em! Supurb handling!
I used to have HR springs. Great also...
No worries...
We have you covered.

It's not an s2k or a Honda for that matter. I will give you a hint - The make and model both start with the letter "T".

... Ok, Debate ON...
What is "T"?
I might not understand. I don't know everything about the S. But I have worked on several versions of the S's suspension.
Explain.
Let's keep it cool so that our inquisitor gets the help he needs. And Frankly... I might have something to learn here too!
I'm willing to help...as I am in between jobs now and have all the tools. What I don't understand is the difference between the two models... AP1 and AP2. Suspension-wise... they are the same when it comes to shocks and coils. There is a difference in control arms... but no difference in shocks.
Go on...

T is for Toyota. The model is _______. The OP came to the last tech meet with Andy (Honda AP2) and is a s2k enthusiast.
