Default Need to rant, vent, whatever

So despite being at work today I was having a great day. On the way home I'm behind a TL type S and he is dragging ass in the fast lane so as I approach he signals and changes lanes just in time to avoid the 4 foot freeway alligator laying on its side blocking half the lane. I swerved left but had no chance and now my front right is all ****ed up and a entire chunk is missing out of my AP2 lip. The fender liner is hanging down and the whole front is scrapped up. It looks like crap I don't even want to drive it.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

****** Re-treads!! I hate the fact that commercial trucks can RE-TREAD their tires for cost savings. Its bullshit. Ranting cause about 8 months ago, i shattered my AP1 OEM Lip, cracked and split my rear exhaust cap and scuffed up my side diffusers and black marked my whole drivers side of the car. I was pissed. All happened the same way Roberts just did. Nothing we can do unless you can get the truck that did its information and file a complaint with the city, police and the company itself and even then good luck.

That sucks man...

On a side note, the rear brake install went without a hitch thanks to the caliper tool. Let me know when you need it back.

I agree re-treading is retarted, I understand profit in a company but not at the cost of safety and our S2000's!!!

I hit one awhile back on I-10 and got lucky, some Meguiars Quick Detail took the foot long rubber mark off of my lip. Swerving would have caused an accident. Made the split second decision to hit the tire (was almost a full tire) and got away with absolutely no damage. Luck was on my side that day.
