^^Wasn't it the first lookout that yours went out at too?

Thanks again for the ride that day, sucks i didn't get a chance to buy you a beer for helpin me out before you moved to NY.
Sorry to hear that. I am starting to not like that run. I didn't think it was THAT hard on cars.
John, you are absolutely right.
OP, I'm really sorry to hear that you have to go through the same crap I did. If I can lend a hand in any way, let me know. Good luck.
Well I'm trying to work out something with my Dad's friend / neighbor Tim Beadle. He worked for Honda for a long time and does Honda V-6 installs in dune buggies.
So I am going to yank the motor sometime in the next 2 weeks and take the short block down to him to see what he thinks of rebuilding it or just replacing it.
I appreciate the offers to help and I'm sure I'll be needing a long cruise after this thing is back together and broken in.

he is the MAN! ask to check out his v6 civic. it burns tires off. he has been in the honda tuning world FOREVER. every motor mount swap kit, he designed, then someone copied. v6 swaps included. he is working on a v6 swap kit for the s2k too... i can't wait.
anywho, he built a frankenstein for us. k24 bottom end, k20a3 head, with a turbo. forged bottom end. did 400 whp easy. daily driven, runs great. if anyone could rebuild it or help, its him.
Wow that sux. HWY88 now shares the same position as 4WHLBKE......maybe HWY88 will get a 300whp car now too lol....Seems like everyone I know that has lost there in way or another has come back better and stronger. Heh
Sorry about your block. I can more than relate to what it feels like to realize "oh shit" when it comes to something wrong on the S.

I purchased a engine with 7K miles from a 2006 yesterday. Tim Beadle located the engine through his connection's and should arrive from Arkansas late next week. I have also decided to have Tim swap the engines for me since he is the man and has a lift.
Tim is working on a V-6 swap for the S2K and may do some test fitting with my car while the engine's out. I'll post some pics with the V-6 in it if I can.
I miss my car!!
