Default NOOOOO

My check engine came on yesterday when I started my vehicle. I went to autozone and they checked it and they said the computer says its a cylinder 1 misfire. Any suggestions? any mechanics? I have 85k 2004

You can check your spark plug. If it looks ok, try swapping coilpacks. If the misfire moves to another cylinder, then it is the coilpack that has gone bad.

Common problem is the vlave guides on your year, however, it is also the last thing to expect. Change plugs, and move that coil pack to a different cylinder. Let us know how it works out for you.

Check your spark plugs for sure. I have an 03 with 78K and changed my plugs this weekend. Two were at a gap if 1.3

Replaced with favtory NGK's, I think it was $45 OTD for the plugs at Honda.

I'd start with checking the plugs. Then mark the top of the coils (1,2,3,4) and switch them around. If it is still misfiring in the same cyl, it could either be an injector or a valve issue. If the misfire moves to different cyl, it's probably the coil pack. Good luck. My misfire issue was an injector problem.

I would have stuck with OEM....

Did you inspect your plugs? Or try switching the coils around yet?
