Post PIR Roll Call

Who's coming out to PIR this weekend?
I'll be out on Sunday for HPDE3 and Time Attack.
Here's an open invitation. If you aren't doing anything this Sunday and have always been curious about what the S can really do ... come out to PIR this Sunday and hang out for a bit... and even perhaps... go for a ride!
Admission for all is free. Parking is free.
The event is put on by the NASA AZ chapter and Club Racing Arizona. See their websites for the schedule of events.
We'll start off first thing at near 8AM with a cold track and cautious driving, and my main event will be the Time Attack at around 2PM.
SPLNDID will be going for a time of under 1:13.
Come cheer "us" on!

Otherwise, and as well ... come out and we'll take you for a ride and have a blast!

I'm there both days.

I think we need to create a sticky for club racing organized events and have nasa and autox info in one place instead of repeating it over and over.

Weather forecast puts this weekend at the high 80s/low 90s with a chance of rain Sat. Should be cloudy all weekend. Its shaping up to be an awesome event! I love driving in the rain - the ultimate test of driving ability. Bring it on! I'll be there both days.

I'll be there Saturday. Not driving or working just there to hang out. Haven't seen you guys in a long while. I do want to drive one of your cars though to see what a stock S feels like again. Not on the track just out on the road, to feel low end torque. I really don't remember, its been that long. Of course, I'll let you drive mine in return.

I wanted to do a little pull with my friend Daniel with the Z last night. It was a pretty even "race" he edged out ahead of me a bit. This is with me shifting ~ 6300. If I get my new map sensor in before the weekend I might do a couple runs to 8500 for tuning, but it just shipped today from HTG...so I don't know if I will or not.

Anyway, looking forward to hanging out again.

R-comps work well in the rain??! Hmm...

I'm definitely hoping it does rain. Hell bring fog too and maybe we can do it at night.

Yeah. Rain is fun. I've got a set of BF Goodrichs that will do the job.
But damn!... I just washed my ride!

I might make it out. I did have other plans this w/e so I didn't register but it looks like they might not pan out. Anyone know how full DE2 is?
