Default Please keep Labib in your thoughts and prayers

He was just recently involved in a pretty bad accident. He's beat up, but thankfully ok. The other guy didn't fare so well.

According to witnesses, the rider was trying to beat the red light and hit him going 70+ MPH. Medics on the scene said things were not looking to good for him.

I'm posting this up with his permission. Please drive safe out there folks...

Bikes scare the crap out of me. It's so easy to make mistakes when driving, we all lose focus sometimes...but on bikes the price could be so much worse.

I will never own a bike because I know I will get hurt on one.

I'll never ride a bike on a public street. You have no safety net if you or someone else screws up. Glad he's okay.

I can't say how many close calls I've had riding a bike in town. Almost got ran over by a full dirt truck that ran a red. Last time a 16 yo girl made a left right in front of me. There's no getting used to the terror.

To me the bikers and bicyclists have "Small dog syndrome" with a sense of invulnerability until something like this happens.

Like other replies I too will never own a bike. Hope everyone fully recovers.
