Default Question on soft top

I noticed today in the rain that water runs down the window on the passenger side, just a little but defnintely a leak. Im thinking window seal leak.

Has anyone experienced something similar with their soft top. It seems like the rubber is not quite "snug" enough or something to that matter that some of the trapped water is getting through.

Is this something that will require the top to be replaced ?

Thanks,

Try lubing up the seals with some ShinEtsu grease.

I used to get a leak on the pass side window too. Mine was right where the weather seal splits for the top to fold. I used some Shin-etzu grease on all of the weather seals on the top and it never happened again.

Sounds good. Assuming it still leaks, can the seals be replaced without replacing the whole top ?

Yes, but it probably just needs adjustment.

Mine leaks too from the same spot. I used ShinEtsu grease last week but it still leaked today. Not much just a few drops. Next time it rains I think I'll just leave the top down. I won't notice the leak then.

Good idea.

I just took off one of the rubber seals and readjusted it and will check next time it rains hard. Mine was dripping right where the tweeter in the door is located.
