Default Ramen~~~

The lady friend and I went out to this Food Truck Caravan tonight and there was this food truck called "Yatai Ramen" - it was pretty damn good. Anyone looking to get your ramen fix I highly suggest it.

They will be back 08/30 at 5th ave and Goldwater near oldtown Scottsdale, 6:30 to 10ish!

Ugh, Republic is a damn shame!!!!!!!!! How are they still in business? I has no idea.

If you're down on the south side, there's a place called Sushi Ken that has decent ramen as well~ and if you're up north there's a place called Dozo.

I really enjoyed the ramen at the food truck though!

The food trucks are a pretty fun time. Kara and I have done them a few times and have found some pretty bomb food.

I like cherry blossom. Their ramen is hakata style tonkotsu ramen. If you like tonkotsu I recommend their ramen.

I'm actually right by sushi ken, I'll have to check it out. And I'll also check out Cherry Blossom. Sounds good.

I think Republic of Ramen is only in business because of all the weaboo animu tards that go to ASU.

Yes that.

I think I've had Maruchan ramen that was better.

The lines.. . is downtown still doing their foodtruck friday or thursday every week?

Sleepydog brewery usually has a foodtruck out front of their place on either friday or sat nights. They switch it up often. Not a huge fan of their beers but they have a couple good ones.

If you like food trucks, there will be four of them in Gilbert Thursday night (Greenfield and Elliot). 5:30-7:30pm. They will include:

The Grilled Cheese Truck
L.A. Roots
Waffle Crush
One-Eighty Q
Goodness Gracious Great Balls and Sliders

Location is Gilbert Classical Academy (55 N. Greenfield Rd. Gilbert, AZ). Part of the proceeds will benefit GCA PTO. There is a PTO meeting at 7pm, would love to hear the missus complain at the loud exhaust notes leaving the event (and smiling knowing she asked for it, and it benefitted the school).

If you want to know more about the 27th-ranked high school in the NATION right here in AZ, let me know. USNEWS & World Reports Academic ranking, but alas, no auto-shop even though it is a Gilbert public school.
